📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data-driven software applications using Python and modern frameworks • Build and optimize API-based solutions for scalable integrations • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory, Fabric, PySpark, and related technologies • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications • Participate in architecture and design discussions • Author and review design documentation • Participate in code reviews • Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and bugs • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability • Assist with testing, validation, and regulatory quality requirements • Modernize and optimize existing systems, including performance tuning legacy SQL stored procedures • Use GitHub workflows for CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated quality checks • Write unit tests to improve code coverage and maintainability • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends • Leverage Copilot and other AI-assisted tools outside interviews to solve complex problems and improve developer productivity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering roles • Strong proficiency in Python • Experience developing API-based solutions using FastAPI, Django, or Flask • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, and ETL tools such as SSIS or similar • Experience writing stored procedures • Experience with PySpark, Databricks, or other Spark-based frameworks • Solid understanding of SQL and T-SQL • Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases • Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and data transformation best practices • Experience with cloud platforms; Azure preferred • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with Git and collaborative coding workflows • Ability to write unit and integration tests • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills • Healthcare experience, especially authorization/prior-authorization workflows, is a strong plus • Government-issued photo ID required for identity verification • Comprehensive background check required • In-person I-9 verification required • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment • High-speed home internet over 10 Mbps required • Artificial intelligence tools prohibited during interviews
