📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data-driven software applications using Python and modern frameworks • Build and optimize scalable API solutions using FastAPI, Django, and Flask • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory, Fabric, PySpark, and related technologies • Participate in architecture and design discussions and author and review design documentation • Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code • Collaborate with product owners, QA partners, product managers, designers, and engineers in an Agile environment • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, code reviews, and iterative delivery • Troubleshoot, debug, test, and validate solutions • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability • Modernize existing systems and tune legacy SQL stored procedures • Use GitHub workflows for CI/CD, code reviews, and automated quality checks • Write unit tests and improve code coverage and maintainability • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering roles • Strong proficiency in Python, including FastAPI, Django, and Flask • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, and ETL tools such as SSIS or similar • Experience writing stored procedures • Experience with PySpark, Databricks, or other Spark-based frameworks • Solid understanding of SQL, T-SQL, data modeling, data pipelines, and data transformation best practices • Experience with cloud platforms; Azure preferred, AWS or GCP a plus • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with Git and collaborative coding workflows • Ability to write unit and integration tests • Healthcare experience, especially authorization/prior-authorization workflows, is a strong plus • High-speed home internet over 10 Mbps • Government-issued photo ID submission, comprehensive background check, in-person I-9 verification, and possible drug screening required • Final interviews may require onsite attendance • Artificial intelligence tools are prohibited during interviews
