📋 Description

• Lead the Node sub-team's technical direction, architecture decisions, and code quality standards • Design architecture for the frontend, mobile, and backend platform, including component design, rendering strategy, state management, service/API structure, and relational/document data modeling • Document architecture decisions for stakeholders • Design and implement complex frontend and mobile features using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and React Native • Design and implement complex Next.js API routes and Node.js backend services • Handle API design, authentication/authorization, caching, and database design and access • Provide day-to-day technical leadership to the Node sub-team • Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers • Establish and enforce Node coding standards • Own performance optimization, testing strategy, and CI/CD pipeline governance • Ensure secure, high-availability, HIPAA-compliant frontend and mobile applications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 7+ years of professional software development experience with primary frontend expertise • Deep, demonstrable proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Next.js in production applications • Senior-level React Native/Expo mobile experience • Strong Node.js backend capability • Experience with relational and document database design • Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones • Required to attend an in-person interview at the Dallas headquarters as a finalist • Must have a dedicated work area separate from other living areas and providing information privacy • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure • Must live in a location with existing high-speed internet service • Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience across frontend and full-stack development • Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology, health insurance, or another regulated industry • Preferred: Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR, X12, NCPDP) applied to frontend rendering • Preferred: Experience with GraphQL Federation/tRPC, monorepo tooling, and relational/document schema design
