📋 Description

• Provide technical assistance and guidance for on-premise and cloud-based IT assets • Administer, maintain, and resolve issues with servers and systems • Install, rebuild, and configure servers, hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage • Install and repair servers, software, end-user devices, and peripheral equipment • Maintain daily server-environment performance • Monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server infrastructure • Monitor systems and respond to security or usability concerns • Upgrade systems and processes for enhanced functionality and security resolution • Implement cloud-based assets and solutions • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows server environments and related systems • Maintain and troubleshoot network services including File and Print services, Exchange, Microsoft 365/Exchange Online, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS • Configure and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server software deployments • Provide Tier 3 support to customers and technical staff • Assist with backup and disaster-recovery testing • Prepare and maintain documentation for server, cloud, and application environments • Maintain security practices according to industry and corporate standards • Work under the direction of the Director of IT Infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • 5+ years of related experience • Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and CentOS • Experience with Azure Cloud Services • Experience with Exchange 2013, Exchange Online, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, and Active Directory • Experience with Microsoft and Linux (CentOS) server operating systems • A+ and Network+ Certification • Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments • Experience with SAN and NAS technologies • Strong experience with SCCM • Working knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities and practices • Strong understanding of cloud services environments, preferably Azure, and creating cloud-based solutions • Working knowledge of ITIL best practices • Strong documentation skills • Strong customer service skills • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills • Ability to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • Ability to work extended hours as needed • Availability outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
