📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies • Build scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from multiple sources • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Work with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing and data processing • Develop data transformation and modelling workflows using dbt • Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions • Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) for scalable data storage • Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers following modern lakehouse architecture • Develop optimized SQL queries and perform performance tuning • Use Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development • Implement automated data quality checks, validation, and pipeline testing • Design and maintain data models and schemas for reporting and analytics • Follow data governance, security, metadata management, and data quality practices • Collaborate with BI, analytics, and business teams to understand data requirements • Work with remote/offshore engineering teams and provide technical guidance when required • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake • Hands-on expertise in dbt • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Experience with Microsoft Fabric — Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) • Strong Python skills • Advanced SQL • ETL/ELT Pipeline Development • Data Modelling & Schema Design • Data Quality & Validation Frameworks • Git / Version Control • Understanding of CI/CD fundamentals • Good understanding of modern cloud data engineering architecture • Exposure to GCP • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI • Experience working with distributed/offshore teams • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to independently develop, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines • Good communication and collaboration skills • Comfortable working in a US shift — 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST
