📋 Description

• Lead operational planning and execution for new greenfield branch openings and major facility startups • Build and manage launch plans, milestone trackers, readiness checklists, and implementation timelines • Coordinate facility readiness, staffing, systems, inventory, fleet, safety, customer readiness, and go-live support • Partner with the COO and executive leadership on launch priorities, resources, risks, and decision points • Own post-opening ramp-up routines to drive speed-to-productivity and early performance stability • Monitor revenue, service readiness, inventory, staffing, customer activation, and operating productivity • Coordinate corrective actions for early performance gaps and transition new branches to regional operating ownership • Partner on capital planning, branch-related capital investments, facility expansions, project timelines, budgets, readiness risks, and ROI • Support targeted recovery execution for selected underperforming branches • Lead cross-functional coordination across Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, Pricing, Safety, and Marketing • Own launch dashboards, readiness reporting, performance tracking, and executive updates • Analyze ramp-up performance, productivity, service readiness, staffing, inventory, and capital effectiveness • Lead, coach, and develop managers and directors supporting launches, productivity initiatives, and recovery efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations, industrial distribution, branch operations, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries • Proven success leading greenfield openings, facility startups, branch launches, network expansion, or large-scale operational implementation initiatives • Construction Management experience with buildout and remodel • Demonstrated experience leading managers and directors in a matrixed organization • Experience managing capital projects, facility expansions, implementation timelines, and cross-functional launch teams • Strong analytical, project management, change leadership, and executive communication capabilities • Ability to travel extensively across the branch network • Preferred: experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments • Preferred: experience supporting acquisition integrations, network expansion, branch consolidation, or new market entry • Preferred: building products, construction products, distribution, or industrial operations experience • Preferred: familiarity with performance dashboards, branch KPIs, project management tools, and operating cadence routines
