📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth analysis of Android applications and SDKs to understand codebase, architecture, functionality, and potential risks • Use decompilation, disassembly, debugging, and other advanced reverse engineering techniques • Identify user and device risk, data leakage, and malicious code execution • Gather, analyze, and report threat intelligence related to Android malware, exploits, and emerging security trends • Collaborate with security researchers, developers, and stakeholders to share findings and recommendations • Contribute to the development of secure applications and the Android ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5+ years of expertise in Android Development, Reverse Engineering, Pentesting, Application Security Assessments, or Capture the Flag (CTF) • Hands-on experience analyzing, unpacking, and reverse engineering malicious applications or SDKs • Experience with static and dynamic analysis techniques • Experience with Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp for binary and APK analysis • Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and other mobile software languages • Experience with ELF/native binary reverse engineering • Experience developing signatures such as SQL and YARA • Understanding of Android activity lifecycles, common Android API usage, AOSP, and Android application creation • Knowledge of techniques used by malicious applications to harm users’ devices or data • Understanding of mobile app store policies • Network traffic analysis and security fundamentals • Threat research using VirusTotal, the Web, ExploitDB, MITRE, and open-source intelligence • Knowledge of encoding and cryptography • Understanding of authentication mechanisms and security • Knowledge of device rooting • Understanding of complex frameworks and application packers
