📋 Description

• Design, develop, code, test, debug, and deploy software in an Azure cloud environment • Modify and enhance existing applications • Support product delivery by writing code and reviewing pull requests • Independently define and prioritize goals and tasks in a fast-paced agile product environment • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project success • Participate in rotating on-call and after-hours support as required by business needs • Derive optimal solutions and implement best coding practices • Work with the Solution Architect to strategize design plans • Propose solutions to complex problems • Build consensus among the team • Mentor junior developers • Contribute to architecture and design of cloud-native applications

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-native applications using Python • Azure strongly preferred; AWS is also acceptable • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience • Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design and practices • Strong RDBMS experience, including PostgreSQL and MS SQL, designing tables and writing queries • SQL experience is a strong plus • Proven ability to identify, explain, and implement common design patterns • Demonstrated experience designing systems or pipelines from scratch • Ability to articulate design trade-offs, scalability options, and performance implications • Experience conducting code reviews • Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps • Fluency with multi-platform software utilizing various programming environments and tools • Excellent communication and written skills • Eagerness to learn new languages and technologies • Knowledge of Python, Ruby, Azure, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API, relational databases, and NoSQL databases preferred • Experience with Docker, Linux, Windows, Azure, Git, and NPM package management preferred
