📋 Description

• Lead technical direction across multiple Agile product teams delivering customer-facing digital banking capabilities • Serve as the primary technical advisor for engineering managers, architects, product leaders, and delivery teams • Drive delivery of scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available banking solutions • Guide technical roadmaps, platform evolution, and modernization initiatives • Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews • Mentor engineers and foster engineering ownership and accountability • Resolve complex technical challenges spanning multiple domains and teams • Champion API-first, event-driven, and domain-oriented architectures • Design microservices-based solutions and integration strategies • Define target-state capabilities across identity, customer onboarding, customer profile, payments, notifications, entitlements, and digital engagement • Partner with enterprise architecture teams to establish long-term platform standards • Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and SRE practices • Establish engineering metrics focused on quality, stability, velocity, and customer outcomes • Improve reliability, scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering • 10+ years software engineering experience preferred • 5+ years technical leadership experience in banking, fintech, payments, or regulated industries preferred • Experience modernizing large-scale customer-facing digital platforms preferred • Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills preferred • Cloud-native architectures and distributed systems • ReactJS, React Native, TypeScript and Microfrontends • Native Mobile development practices and SDK integrations • Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Microservices • Kafka and event-driven architectures • Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code • CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps • Identity and access management (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) • Observability, OpenTelemetry, SRE, platform reliability
