📋 Description

• Support and manage network security infrastructure, including Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, Network Access Control platform, and micro-segmentation platform • Audit configurations on routers, switches, and wireless equipment • Monitor and manage firewall infrastructure, VPN, NAC platform, micro-segmentation platform, and other security tools • Collaborate with information security and network teams to establish and enforce security policies and configurations • Analyze and troubleshoot firewall rule sets affecting application performance and availability • Support change management by reviewing configuration impacts and executing approved changes • Participate in team and departmental meetings, providing project, initiative, and incident updates • Ensure adherence to IT Architecture principles, guidelines, and Information Security Standards • Collaborate with outsourced partners to deliver network security services • Use AlgoSec or Tufin to analyze firewall rule sets, identify misconfigurations and gaps, and optimize policies • Perform micro-segmentation using firewalls and tools such as Illumio or Guardicore • Respond to support calls, incidents, and requests related to network and security infrastructure • Configure and optimize firewall logs sent to the SOC • Follow SOPs and maintain daily operational checklists

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' networking experience and 2 years of hands-on firewall engineering activities • Experience managing Palo Alto Firewall infrastructure in an enterprise environment • Extensive hands-on work configuring and troubleshooting within Palo Alto Panorama and SCM (Strata Cloud Manager) interfaces • PCNSA, PCNSE, or CISSP certifications preferred • Strong understanding and broad troubleshooting experience with VPN (site-to-site, remote access client, IPSec, IKE, tunnel modes, SSL, tunnels between firewalls) • Experience with micro-segmentation in a virtualized Data Center environment • Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC) concepts and fundamentals • Basic understanding of network engineering, SDWAN, and LAN/WAN technologies and topologies • Fundamental knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco and Aruba wireless infrastructure • Ability to work within a 24/7 environment across multiple time zones • Domestic travel 10% • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Solid organizational and time management skills • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including communication with business and technical individuals • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
