📋 Description

• Assist in all areas of lateral partner recruiting • Review and process resume submissions and employment inquiries • Enter candidate information into the applicant tracking system and maintain related data and records • Schedule and arrange logistics for virtual and in-person candidate interviews • Prepare and organize electronic interview evaluation packets for lateral hiring decisions • Solicit and follow up with attorneys for candidate interview evaluations and feedback • Assist in coordinating partner strategic growth initiatives • Organize and distribute resumes to Partner Recruiting Team members • Assist with communications and reports and respond to ad hoc data requests • Collaborate with colleagues in offices and other departments regarding recruiting matters • Process vendor invoices and department and candidate expenses and monitor the budget • Perform additional duties assigned by the legal recruiting team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • At least one year of law firm experience required • Experience in an administrative, recruiting, or operations role preferred • Experience maintaining databases, tracking tools, or applicant tracking systems preferred • Interest in pursuing a career in legal recruiting • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage a high volume of assignments, competing priorities, and deadlines while supporting multiple team members • Effective written and verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of candidate, compensation, and strategic information • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook • Ability to learn ATS platforms, Smartsheet, and AI tools • Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment, communicate responsively, and follow through on assignments • Willingness to learn lateral partner recruiting processes and assume additional responsibilities as skills develop • Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with the FCO and California Fair Chance Act
