📋 Description

• Design, document, and continuously improve recruitment processes and templates across multiple clients • Work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders • Conduct candidate sourcing and outreach, identify relevant talent pools, and build and maintain candidate pipelines • Conduct early-stage candidate evaluation through application reviews and screening calls • Manage candidate communications throughout hiring processes • Track candidates, roles, and hiring progress across applicant tracking systems and internal tools • Assist with interview scheduling and recruitment process logistics • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or failure points in recruiting systems and propose improvements • Maintain and improve scoring rubrics and assessment frameworks for fair, consistent evaluation • Support day-to-day recruitment operations and administrative tasks • Report to the Head of Recruitment • Support recruitment operations for Impact Ops and its clients, particularly high-impact nonprofits in AI safety, alignment, and governance

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related role • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and coordination • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Comfort working with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and documentation systems • Enthusiasm for adopting cutting-edge recruitment technologies and AI tools, with willingness to innovate • Operations mindset and interest in improving processes and systems • Ambitious growth mindset with excitement about scaling recruitment operations • Positive, optimistic approach with strong interpersonal skills • Experience in nonprofit, social impact, or mission-driven recruitment is a plus • Experience recruiting for technical research roles, particularly in AI/ML or adjacent fields • Interest in challenges of recruiting for emerging, specialized cause areas • Understanding of or interest in the AI safety landscape • Candidates preferably based on the US East or West Coast; exceptional candidates elsewhere may be considered
