📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex, cross-functional automation solutions • Act as a technical authority on architecture decisions, integration patterns, and engineering best practices within the ORCA program • Architect and implement end-to-end automation solutions • Define integration standards, data flow patterns, and reusable framework components • Design and maintain the data lake architecture for centralized automation telemetry and reporting • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge transfer • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements to enhance capability and scale

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of extensive experience and education • 5-7+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or automation engineering • At least 2 years in a security or infrastructure domain • Experience designing and delivering production automation platforms or data pipelines at enterprise scale • Track record of mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical direction • Experience integrating across multiple enterprise systems (ITSM, identity, vulnerability management, threat intel) • Advanced Python, including library design, async patterns, packaging, and CI/CD integration • REST API architecture, including design, versioning, and authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, Managed Identity, API keys) • Experience with automation orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster • Data pipeline and data lake design, including schema evolution, partitioning, and storage optimization • AI/LLM integration, including agent architectures, tool-calling patterns, multi-model orchestration, and prompt engineering • Container orchestration with Kubernetes/AKS, including deployments, Helm charts, troubleshooting, and resource management • Linux administration on RHEL, including systemd, networking, security hardening, and performance tuning • Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates • Git workflows, including branching strategies, PR review processes, and CI/CD pipeline design • SQL, including complex queries, schema design, and performance optimization • Master's degree in a technical discipline is a plus • Relevant certifications strongly valued: CISSP, AZ-305, CKA/CKAD, AZ-400, AWS/Azure Security specialty • Azure platform expertise, including Key Vault, Blob Storage, Container Apps/AKS, Managed Identity, and Azure OpenAI • Security domain knowledge, including vulnerability management lifecycle, threat intel feeds, CVSS/EPSS scoring, and SIEM/SOAR • Encrypted data handling, including Parquet Modular Encryption, AES-256, and key management • Graph database experience with Neo4j and Cypher • Experience building shared libraries or SDKs consumed by multiple teams • Experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps at the program level • Experience with enterprise change management and production deployment processes
