📋 Description

• Diagnose production issues across the mainframe, Java/Spring services tier, and Cloud Run microservices • Ship fixes on the loan-originations money path alongside improvements to agent tooling and the knowledge substrate • Design and operate the MCP tools layer • Build least-privilege, per-call-audited MCP servers over DB2, Splunk, and GCP • Build production multi-agent workflows on Google ADK for error triage, ADR authoring, and originations debugging • Own the loan-originations knowledge graph and retrieval work end-to-end • Model the loan-originations ontology and implement hybrid vector plus graph retrieval • Ship deterministic Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot backend services on GCP, including audit, provenance, and human-in-the-loop review capabilities • Author ADRs, OKF business-logic documents, skill files, and Splunk saved-search catalogs • Pair with teammates on complex debugging sessions • Track and publish monthly autonomous-agent performance trends • Create evaluations and evaluation runners for AI tools and agents • Automate test-case generation, evaluation, and grading for brownfield and greenfield applications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience • 7+ years building and operating production-grade backend systems as a hands-on engineer • 5+ years in Python and Java • At least 1 year of experience shipping AI-enabled applications in production, including agent frameworks, retrieval systems, or LLM-backed services • Demonstrated experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as Google ADK, LangGraph, LangChain, or comparable • Practical experience implementing MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool integrations, agent communication patterns, and AI observability • Working experience with vector search and hybrid retrieval, and with knowledge graphs or GraphRAG • Strong backend fundamentals: Spring Boot, relational databases such as PostgreSQL or DB2 including query and schema design, REST/OpenAPI, TDD, and modern CI/CD • Production experience on Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and BigQuery, or an equivalent cloud • Comfort operating in complex, multi-tier, legacy-integrated environments where change control and auditability matter • Visa sponsorship is not available • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Semantic technologies, ontology engineering, or graph databases such as Neo4j or Neptune, preferred • Experience integrating with mainframe systems such as COBOL, DB2 for z/OS, or CICS, preferred • Splunk SPL proficiency, including saved-search and dashboard authoring on large indexes, preferred • Event-driven architectures such as Pub/Sub or Kafka; containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes, preferred
