📋 Description

• Serve as primary architect for the core platform • Design, blueprint, and lead implementation of scalable, reliable, and efficient systems • Set technical direction and drive quality, design patterns, and operational excellence from conception through deployment • Lead complex cross-team initiatives spanning engineering teams and business domains • Drive technical alignment for strategic priorities • Promote architectural integrity, modern design patterns, and technical best practices • Build resilient and observable systems • Address technical debt, bugs, and incidents • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and sponsorship • Foster ownership and continuous learning across the engineering team • Maintain engagement across multiple teams and act as an accessible technical leader

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical leadership, mentorship, and sponsorship • Deep expertise designing and implementing complex distributed backend systems • Experience designing scalable architectures across multiple software applications and/or languages • Ruby on Rails required • Excellent written and verbal communication • Significant ability to influence others • Passion for learning and self-development • Several years of experience in agile software development • Experience with front-end architecture or a full-stack perspective • Understanding of how backend services impact end-user experience • Typically has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or additional relevant experience • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States • Must not require sponsorship now or in the future
