• Provide remote Level 2 technical support for FUJIFILM Synapse medical device software products • Remotely troubleshoot and resolve product issues • Assess and clear monitor alarms • Provide customers with timely responses • Troubleshoot third-party hardware, software, and network issues sold or supported by FUJIFILM • Use FUJIFILM knowledge resources during troubleshooting • Collaborate with peers and team members on complex technical issues • Document cases throughout troubleshooting • Follow the TAC escalation process and escalate unresolved cases to the next-level engineer • Answer and facilitate incoming customer calls and document interactions in cases • Work cross-functionally with other Synapse teams and products • Monitor TAC phone-system wallboards and maintain proper status • Meet expectations for customer surveys, documentation accuracy, case and project completion, and training completion • Meet yearly goals and team-defined metrics • Work outside normal business hours, overtime, holidays, and on-call rotations • Perform short-notice overnight travel when needed to work on customer systems • Adhere to company quality, regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements • Comply with U.S. FDA medical-device, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, Trade School Certification (Industry related), or Industry Experience Equivalent • One or more industry-specific certifications in relevant technical background; Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco certifications preferred • Working knowledge of Windows OS, including Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+ • Working knowledge of networking, SQL Server, and/or Oracle • Knowledge of current network technologies • Superior communication and interpersonal skills and excellent phone manner • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team environment • Ability to make independent decisions based on technology data and product knowledge • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Knowledge of Synapse workflows and implementations • Knowledge of clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces, including HL7 and DICOM • Maintain Security+ Certification (Security+ or higher) • Maintain and expand knowledge to become a TAC Subject Matter Expert in two disciplines • Maintain case workload within 10% of the median of peers • Keep case backlogs at or below 25 cases, excluding escalated cases, unless approved by management • Ability to sit for up to 75–100% of applicable work time • Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time • Occasional travel up to 10% may be required • Willingness to comply with applicable U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, facility credentialing, vaccination, testing, and face-covering requirements where applicable
