• Remotely troubleshoot and resolve issues with Synapse products • Assess and clear monitor alarms • Provide timely responses to customers • Troubleshoot third-party hardware, software, and network issues sold or supported by FUJIFILM • Collaborate with peers and Lead Team members on complex technical issues and innovative solutions • Document troubleshooting activities and follow the TAC escalation process • Promote well-documented cases for product Knowledge Base articles • Maintain expert working knowledge of medical imaging products and related technologies • Answer and facilitate incoming customer calls and document interactions in case records • Work cross-functionally with other Synapse teams and products • Monitor TAC phone system wall boards and maintain proper statuses • Meet customer survey, documentation, case, project, training, workload, and backlog expectations • Participate in after-hours, overtime, holiday, and on-call coverage • Travel occasionally, including short-notice overnight travel, to work on customer systems • Comply with company quality, regulatory, U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, and applicable legal requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, trade school certification (industry related), or equivalent industry experience • One or more industry-specific technical certifications; Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco certifications preferred • Knowledge of Windows OS, including Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022+ • Knowledge of networking, SQL Server, and/or Oracle • Superior communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent phone manner • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced team environment • Ability to make independent decisions based on technology data and product knowledge • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills • Knowledge of Linux architecture • Experience using PostgreSQL • Fujifilm Synapse Administration experience preferred • Knowledge of Synapse application front end preferred • Knowledge of Synapse workflows and implementations preferred • Experience with HL7 and DICOM preferred • Working knowledge of VMware and storage solutions preferred • Security+ certification or higher preferred • Experience managing RHEL6, RHEL7, or downstream distributions preferred • Experience with Bash or Python shell scripting preferred • Ability to sit up to 75–100% of applicable work time • Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 10% • Within two years of starting, maintain Security+ certification or higher and qualify as a TAC SME in two disciplines • Maintain case workload within 10% of peer median and case backlog at or below 25 cases unless management approves otherwise • Willingness to work outside normal business hours, overtime, weekends, holidays, and an on-call rotation • Willingness to comply with facility vendor credentialing and applicable vaccine/testing/face-covering requirements when required
