📋 Description

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs. • Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user. • Gathers information from the system, analyzes program and time requirements, and prepares documentation to change existing programs. • Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements, under periodic supervision. • Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs. • Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity. • Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems. • Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. • Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of applications development and programming experience with C, Linux, job scripts/streams, SQL, and IWS (Integrated Web Services) • Experience with resolving cycle abends, and debugging batch code • Solid SQL/data analysis skills for troubleshooting and validation • Comfortable supporting production issues, defect analysis, data investigation and end-to-end testing • Pharmacy or healthcare systems (NCPDP – D.0, EDI transactions, etc) are desired • Experience with mainframe (COBOL) or legacy systems is desired
