📋 Description

• Analyze and decompose customer/stakeholder requirements, derive requirements, and allocate requirements to system and subsystem elements in DOORS • Develop and maintain risk and opportunity databases • Support trade studies and perform design research to determine optimal requirements and system architecture • Develop system/subsystem design documentation, including interface definitions, system schematics, and system description documents • Develop and execute system verification • Develop MBSE processes, procedures, templates, and best practices • Develop, review, and present Cameo models to internal and external stakeholders • Lead or support system engineering technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR • Assist in preparing proposals and presentation materials • Perform peer reviews of team members' work • Develop and review test plans and reports • Support planning and execution of subsystem and system testing • Manage overall systems infrastructure, including engineering, implementation, integration, technical services, and support • Design, implement, install, maintain, and administer infrastructure hardware, software, and configurations • Monitor performance, identify potential issues, and tune systems • Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures • Establish and improve processes and procedures • Lead projects or project steps and participate in disaster recovery exercises • Interface with internal and external project team members, company leadership, and customers

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience • Engineering degree required • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Technical expertise • Analytical thinking skills • Problem-solving skills • In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline • Basic knowledge of related job disciplines • Up to 25% travel likely • Must be able to remain stationary at a desk and/or computer for extended periods • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities • May work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery
