📋 Description

• Engineer and manage Tenable, Splunk, McAfee, and other security tools • Evaluate, test, recommend, coordinate, monitor, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems • Manage cybersecurity infrastructure and access controls for hardware, firmware, and software • Align cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures with cybersecurity standards • Identify security risks and exposures and determine causes of security violations • Develop procedures to prevent future incidents and improve security • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits • Evaluate and test hardware, firmware, and software for system-security impact • Investigate and resolve intrusions, fraud, attacks, leaks, and other security incidents • Triage security events and coordinate incidents with incident management, IT operations, network engineering, and application teams • Diagnose, isolate, and analyze problems using historical database records • Participate in security engineering, system configuration hardening validation, and classified information-system assessments • Support security posture assessments • Monitor cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities • Develop, integrate, and maintain security toolsets • Alert management to recurring problems and problem patterns

🎯 Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance required • U.S. citizenship required • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of related experience • 5+ years of Tenable experience • 5+ years of endpoint protection software experience with Symantec, McAfee, or CrowdStrike • 2+ years of Splunk experience • Exposure to or ability to learn ticketing and reporting • Exposure to or ability to learn Linux and Windows • CompTIA Security+ certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire • Ability to work on classified information systems • Less than 10% travel required • 40 scheduled weekly hours
