📋 Description

• Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation • Select suppliers through qualification processes • Own supplier results and drive improvements using supplier scorecards • Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance and driving improvement plans where needed • Lead supplier quality assurance and supplier quality development • Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring • Assist key suppliers toward industrial standards of excellence • Utilize technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policies and strategies • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues • Lead small, low-risk projects • Explain information and build team consensus • Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues • Analyze data and prioritize information • Propose solutions to complicated day-to-day problems using technical experience and analytical thinking • Make decisions using internal and limited external sources

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering experience • Minimum of 3 years of Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering experience • Solid foundation in melting, conversion, or forgings processes • In-depth understanding of engineering drawings • Ability to manage vendors • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
