📋 Description

• Perform on-time and accurate preventative maintenance, Field Modification Instructions, and Instrument Service Information activities • Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation • Learn and perform basic troubleshooting and service repairs on designated equipment • Communicate and partner with teammates, colleagues, and customers to resolve issues and ensure follow-up • Recommend value-added services to improve customer business efficiency • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Order repair parts and manage cycle times • Use the GEHC escalation process and implement corrective action plans with regional and national support • Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts • Identify potential sales leads and participate in contract renewals and revenue programs • Build customer relationships and provide service excellence • Monitor competitor information and market trends • Answer service calls independently within one year of employment

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent military education • Participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program may qualify • High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment as an alternative qualification • Experience with web applications and Microsoft Suite products • Valid driver's license, maintained throughout employment • Willingness to work after hours or rotating on-call schedules, including weekends, as necessary • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level and flex/extend the neck • Good hand and finger dexterity • Required color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision and depth perception • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas
