GenLogs is a Truck Intelligence SaaS platform that aggregates roadside sensors, satellite imagery, license-plate and vehicle-marking recognition, and millions of additional data points to deliver ground-truth, real-time visibility on motor carriers and commercial vehicles across the U. S. The platform is aimed at brokers, shippers, insurers, and law enforcement, and is used for carrier sourcing and vetting, compliance and fraud detection, underwriting and claims investigation, and locating and recovering stolen assets without relying solely on FMCSA or self-reported data.

📋 Description

• Lead technical implementations of integrations between GenLogs and external systems, including TMS, CRM, ERP, data provider, and compliance platforms • Conduct customer discovery sessions to map processes, data flows, and operational constraints • Translate customer needs into technical requirements, API specifications, and data model designs • Build REST API integrations, event-driven workflows, and data pipelines using Python, TypeScript, SQL, and queueing technologies • Collaborate with product and platform engineering to influence the roadmap and reusable integration frameworks • Provide hands-on technical support during rollout, troubleshooting, and performance tuning • Document workflows, integration maps, and best practices for internal and external teams • Train customer IT teams and operators to adopt and scale GenLogs solutions • Own the full lifecycle from scoping and implementation through deployment and ongoing iteration • Embed alongside customers and partners to understand workflows, identify integration opportunities, and deploy scalable, reliable software solutions • Drive customer success, adoption, change management, and measurable business results

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles • Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade integrations between enterprise platforms such as TMS, CRM, and ERP systems • Advanced proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend languages • Strong understanding of asynchronous patterns, API consumption, error handling, and observability • Deep experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth2, SAML, Auth0 flows, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines • Expert-level SQL fluency, including normalized and denormalized schema design, query optimization, execution-plan analysis, and large-scale datasets • Working knowledge of machine learning principles and comfort working with machine learning model outputs • Ability to lead customer-facing technical conversations, gather requirements, influence stakeholders, and drive end-to-end implementation plans • Ability to architect secure, scalable, and resilient solutions using rate limits, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and secrets/key storage • Experience troubleshooting production issues in distributed systems, including latency, timeouts, mismatched schemas, and vendor outages • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to executives, operators, and developers • Independent problem-solving ability and demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • Preferred: experience at an early-stage startup or mission-driven technology company • Preferred: exposure to freight, mobility, public safety, or transportation technology markets
