📋 Description

• Implement and maintain network infrastructure • Provide day-to-day support for local and remote networks, VPN connections, and associated systems and processes • Perform new installations, troubleshooting, and reconfiguration of switches, routers, firewalls, related devices, and some Linux systems • Participate in management of projects to grow and improve systems and networks • Create and maintain related documentation • Design, implement, and troubleshoot on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks • Drive process improvements using automation and open source technologies • Maintain cloud network components within Amazon Web Services • Use automation tools to monitor and maintain networks, lower total cost of ownership, and meet defined KPIs • Develop reusable solutions for common network problems • Maintain and update network hardware and software, including preventive maintenance • Monitor and analyze the network environment to identify and resolve problems • Deliver well-tested, secure, interoperable, and reproducible technologies • Maintain effective relationships within the company • Stay current with emerging network technologies • Adhere to information security policies and protect sensitive information including ePHI and PHI

🎯 Requirements

• US citizenship or permanent residency is required • Understanding of networking concepts such as the OSI Model, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, IPsec VPN, and NAT • Knowledge of industry standard networking concepts, practices, procedures, and protocols • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, including Amazon Web Services • Familiarity with at least one scripting language or configuration tool, such as Ansible, BASH, or Python • Knowledge of wireless network design and troubleshooting • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, integrity, and accountability • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills • Flexible schedule to accommodate after-hours response to incident-related escalations when necessary
