📋 Description

• Define and shape enterprise product and service experiences within complex industrial environments • Identify unclear problem spaces, align stakeholders around priorities, define success measures, and establish design direction across multi-product platforms and business-critical workflows • Translate customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints into product opportunities, experience principles, and measurable outcomes • Lead cross-functional teams through story-mapping workshops to align user journeys, define scope, and prioritize incremental delivery • Apply systems thinking to connect near-term product decisions to longer-term platform and portfolio strategy • Define human-centered interaction models for AI-enabled products, including conversational, recommendation, and decision-support experiences • Apply responsible AI principles while balancing automation with human oversight, transparency, and user control • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate exploration while maintaining human judgment • Lead design from early product definition through detailed interaction design, creating journey maps, workflows, prototypes, and production-ready specifications • Design cohesive experiences across products, workflows, and user roles using design-system patterns and proposing improvements • Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews, usability tests, focus groups, and other user research • Use research insights, product data, and business evidence to inform and evaluate design decisions • Partner with engineering to align implementations with approved designs, workflows, accessibility requirements, and design-system standards • Review prototypes, builds, and pull-request artifacts to identify experience risks before release • Establish scalable design-quality practices connecting Figma specifications, reusable components, acceptance criteria, and implemented experiences • Build, edit, or refine functional prototypes in code-based and AI-assisted development environments • Serve as a strategic design partner to product and engineering leaders • Communicate product and experience strategy to technical, business, and executive audiences • Provide critique and mentorship to strengthen other designers' judgment and craft • Contribute reusable guidance that improves delivery across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience • At least 8 years of professional experience in product design, interaction design, or user experience • Experience with complex enterprise or platform-level initiatives • Portfolio demonstrating problem framing, interaction design, systems thinking, prototyping, and product impact • Experience partnering with product management and engineering throughout the product lifecycle • Experience with design systems and design-to-code workflows • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction without formal authority • Strong working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices • Experience contributing to design systems and collaborating with engineering on reusable components • Experience using product analytics, customer feedback, and other evidence to evaluate product outcomes and inform design decisions • Working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML and CSS • Experience using code-based and AI-assisted development environments to build, edit, or refine functional prototypes • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
