📋 Description

• Own the overall administration, strategy, and compliance of the human resources function • Lead recruiting strategy, benefits administration, employee relations and investigations, performance management, policy formulation, and legal/regulatory compliance • Provide leadership and quality control over recruiting coordination, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, and benefits servicing • Provide subject-matter expertise across recruitment, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, succession planning, and policy formulation • Own hiring decisions for HR Department staff and administer performance evaluations, training needs, probation, and dismissal actions • Analyze and monitor benefit programs, including strategy for Service Contract Act-covered staff • Serve as primary contact with group health, workers' compensation, and retirement plan providers • Resolve HR grievances and employee relations matters • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits • Ensure managers consistently apply company policy and resolve escalated employee grievances • Own the termination process, including exit interviews and communicating findings and recommendations to leadership • Conduct workplace investigations and maintain compliant recordkeeping • Prepare and analyze personnel metrics, including turnover, applicant tracking, Affirmative Action/EEO, and compensation • Monitor employment and labor law developments and lead compliance risk analysis, remediation, audits, and training • Own the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition through onboarding and track recruiting metrics • Direct Paylocity HRIS strategy and data governance • Own HR Department communications, SOP development, and knowledge management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or a related field • Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR generalist/management experience • Broad knowledge of HR operations management, benefits, and compliance • Strong background in benefits administration • Solid understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations • Prior supervisory experience, with demonstrated methods for mentoring and developing direct reports • Prior federal government contract and Service Contract Act (SCA) experience strongly preferred • Able to perform all functions using independent judgment and decision-making • Strong analytical, time-management, and prioritization skills • Strong aptitude for communicating effectively with all levels of employees and organizational leadership • Proficient with MS Office and HR software systems, such as Paylocity • Ability to handle personal data confidentially and maintain professionalism in all environments • PHR/SPHR certification preferred • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must complete a Public Trust background check

• Full-time exempt position • Typical work hours Monday-Friday, 40-60 hours per week • Virtual/remote work setting available • 20% local and regional travel may be required, with overnight stays necessary
