📋 Description

• Draw accurate loan documents using the terms and conditions specified on the Underwriting Approval and according to product and document requirements • Review and verify lock information and final fee sheet for data accuracy • Run compliance tests to ensure loans pass applicable regulations • Review loans for compliance with RESPA, RESPA tolerances, TILA and MDIA • Review prepared documents for accuracy before forwarding them to title/escrow or branch locations for member signatures • Ensure loan documents meet required turn times, production levels, and quality standards • Maintain current knowledge of applicable mortgage industry and credit union standards and trends • Communicate information to Home Loan Advisors, internal staff, and closing agents • Monitor and resolve quality control issues on relevant loan files • Prioritize work within the document-drawing area as volume changes • Perform functions according to Golden 1's performance competency standards • Perform other assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required • One or more years of responsible doc drawing experience within a financial and/or mortgage banking institution required • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulatory requirements, and closing processes • Ability to produce accurate, high-quality loan documentation • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance, including BSA, RESPA, TILA and AML laws • Ability to prioritize work, resolve quality issues, and collaborate with Home Loan Advisors, closing agents, and internal partners • Must satisfy background screening requirements of the Federal Credit Union Act
