📋 Description

• Perform daily operational tasks supporting centralized bank operations, electronic banking, debit card services, FinTech, and internal general banking operations • Process wires using knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank operation policies • Provide support to peer teammates to ensure uninterrupted completion of daily operational tasks • Provide support to all areas of MVB as requested • Perform assigned duties independently and efficiently to support overall bank goals • Ensure client satisfaction through knowledge, courtesy, professionalism, responsiveness, accuracy, and communication • Conduct daily activity reviews and exception reporting • Perform Non-post and NSF processing • Process Fed corrections • Perform charge back processing • Conduct debit card fraud reviews • Process Reg E and check fraud matters • Support Core Banking, Digital, Legal, and other Operations units • Proactively identify and modify procedures to improve service and operational efficiency • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, processes, and applicable banking laws, rules, and regulations • Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) responsibilities specific to the position • Manage daily report distribution

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred • Minimum 2 years of related experience in the financial services industry • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in branch operation activities, terminology, and products and services related to retail and commercial account customers • Knowledge of the various Fed Return types, sub types and field tags • Knowledge of Jack Henry products preferred • Detail oriented; quickly spot out irregularities • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision • Flexible non-traditional banking hours required • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to understand and analyze large amounts of data • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and teammates • Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations • Ability to learn, comprehend and define new systems and processes • General knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank operation policies • Knowledge of NACHA Rules and Regulations • Be open to AAP Certification if required • Candidates must reside in West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, or South Dakota
