β€’ Own the full sales cycle for cities and counties across the U.S., from initial discovery through close. β€’ Run effective discovery conversations to understand government workflows, constraints, and decision-making processes. β€’ Lead product demonstrations and manage multi-stakeholder buying processes typical of public-sector sales. β€’ Consistently close $20K+ ACV deals and manage a healthy, well-organized pipeline. β€’ Travel as needed to meet late-stage prospects and represent GovWell at industry conferences and events. β€’ Contribute to improving sales messaging, process, and execution through iteration and feedback from the field. β€’ Partner closely with leadership, product, and customer teams to deliver a strong end-to-end customer experience.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven Account Executive with a track record of closing complex software deals. β€’ Strong listener and communicator, able to uncover customer needs from imperfect information and clearly articulate value. β€’ Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deals, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously. β€’ Self-directed and motivated, comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving processes. β€’ Resilient and positive in the face of setbacks, with a strong sense of ownership over outcomes. β€’ Motivated by impact and aligned with GovWell’s mission to improve how governments serve their communities. β€’ Willing and excited to travel for deals and industry events, up to 25% of the time. β€’ Strong alignment with our Core Values. β€’ Nice to have: Experience selling to government or other highly regulated, trust-driven buyers. β€’ Background at startups or high-growth companies.
