📋 Description

• Code new features and enhance the operational experience of developed systems • Iteratively improve systems based on production insights • Author, contribute to, and review design documents • Actively shape the roadmap • Mentor and support team members • Collaborate with different teams across the organization • Own the customer experience through weekday and weekend on-call rotations • Refactor Grafana’s architecture for multi-tenancy, scalability, and standardized operation • Safely plan and roll out changes to avoid service disruptions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong coding skills and operational experience • Experience operating software you have built • Experience working on a SaaS platform • Experience with distributed systems problems, including scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to work across teams and with external stakeholders • Ability to prioritize progress over perfection and handle ambiguity • Familiarity with Golang or enthusiasm to learn it • Candidates must be located in the US or Canada • Participation in weekday 12h x 5d and separate weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations
