📋 Description

• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines and data integration processes • Support the collection, transformation, and loading of data from various source systems • Perform data profiling and basic source system analysis to identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities • Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and data transformation logic • Help validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and production support requests • Assist in creating and maintaining source-to-target mapping documentation and technical specifications • Support data warehouse and reporting initiatives through data preparation and validation activities • Monitor data processes and report performance or quality concerns to senior team members • Contribute to the implementation of Azure-based data solutions and services • Follow established DevOps, CI/CD, and data governance practices • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to support project delivery • Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions • Continuously develop technical skills and stay informed of emerging data technologies and best practices • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field preferred • 0-3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, data analytics, or a related technical field • Basic understanding of database concepts, data structures, and data integration techniques • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases • Experience with Python, PowerShell, or another scripting language • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment • Eagerness to learn new technologies and data engineering best practices • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure • Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development • Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling • Experience with Git or other version control tools • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD methodologies • Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI • Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience involving data management or analytics • SQL query development and data analysis • Basic Python or PowerShell scripting • Understanding of data quality and data validation techniques • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or similar technologies is a plus • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
