📋 Description

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged must-have insights content • Develop thought leadership, new insights, and actionable approaches to client needs • Analyze client barriers and needs to identify root causes and drive strategy • Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide actionable advice to clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Support BTI and Sales by serving as the voice of the market and driving client engagement • Conduct timely, high-quality content peer reviews • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration across the Insights community • Improve research processes and develop new service-delivery processes • Mentor and coach junior team members • Help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure cybersecurity, secure networking architecture, or related IT domains • Knowledge of major infrastructure cybersecurity AI offerings from Palo Alto Networks, Netskope, Cato Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and Microsoft • Expertise in agentic AI architectures, frontier AI models, and autonomous cybersecurity agents • Strong understanding of agentic infrastructure cybersecurity use cases in network security, cloud security, endpoint/server patching, backup, data protection, and disaster recovery • Understanding of multi-agent cybersecurity systems, agent orchestration, autonomous decision-making, and coordinated security operations • Understanding of AI agent security, including agent identity, authorization, privilege management, prompt injection risks, agent hijacking, tool poisoning, and emerging security architectures • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with C-level executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
