📋 Description

• Lead on-site inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of utility-scale solar equipment • Maintain and repair inverters, transformers, trackers, combiner boxes, substations, and electrical systems • Enforce PPE use, safe work practices, and company and regulatory safety standards • Perform AC/DC diagnostic testing and root-cause analysis • Use SCADA and monitoring systems to track performance, review alarms, and create corrective work orders • Train and support field personnel and subcontractors on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices • Travel extensively to project sites for scheduled and emergency maintenance, including storm damage and system outages • Identify and recommend process improvements to improve reliability, efficiency, and plant performance • Complete training, administrative responsibilities, expense reporting, and other company activities during home rotations

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding AC and DC electrical theory and application • Understanding of power systems or military equivalent experience • Understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering drawings • Valid driver’s license • Willing to travel 95% of the time • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or visa sponsorship • Ability to pass a drug test • Hands-on utility-scale solar O&M experience, including inverters, trackers, PV systems, transformers, substations, or similar electrical power systems (preferred) • Working knowledge of SCADA systems, diagnostic tools, and infrared imaging (preferred) • Familiarity with battery energy storage systems and commissioning, maintenance, or repair work (preferred) • NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, or OEM-specific training credentials (preferred)
