📋 Description

• Ensure software and hardware implementations are functional and perform as documented or designed • Participate at the beginning of the design cycle to create use cases driving product development • Review requirements for tax accuracy • Draft and/or review requirements, workflows, and user interface designs for product features and enhancements • Write test plans, test cases, use cases, and test strategy documents • Create clearly documented defect reports with reproducible problems and suitable workarounds • Construct thorough manual test cases based on test design and product knowledge • Ensure manual test cases fully exercise product functionality while consuming minimal resources • Use test automation where appropriate and available • Execute end-to-end functional tests and use automated tests developed by others • Provide input and feedback on requirements based on product knowledge and customer issues • Create work plans and communicate goals, plans, designs, and results to technical and non-technical audiences • Compare, contrast, and prioritize alternative approaches • Contribute to end-to-end product testing strategy, focusing on customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Detail-oriented and process-driven approach • Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and cross-team communication skills • Experience in quality assurance, business analysis, software testing, or technical support • Hands-on experience with representative technologies • Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle • Knowledge of software/hardware testing fundamentals, including positive and negative testing • Self-sufficient and self-starter mindset with ability to prioritize work efficiently • Strong research skills
