📋 Description

• Build the technology foundation and first tools for Habitat Health’s Product function • Design, build, test, and deploy production-grade AI tools, copilots, agents, automations, and technology-enabled workflows • Own solutions end to end, including data layer, integrations, agent and prompt design, evaluation, interface, and post-launch enhancements • Support a unified data and tooling layer on existing infrastructure • Run structured evaluations against operational and clinical expectations and debug failure modes • Monitor production tools, fix issues, and write user documentation • Embed with care and outreach teams to observe work, prototype solutions, support implementation, and drive adoption • Map and redesign clinical and operational workflows, including handoffs, decision points, and documentation • Identify and prioritize high-value AI and technology opportunities • Define and track metrics such as adoption, throughput, cycle time, quality, administrative burden reduction, user satisfaction, and business impact • Partner with operations, technology and data, and legal and compliance teams while maintaining quality, privacy, security, and regulatory standards • Work directly with executive leadership and functional owners to determine where technology creates the most value

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience with a software engineering background and a track record of building and shipping production systems end to end in ambiguous, fast-paced environments • Experience building 0-to-1 prototypes independently • Experience building with modern AI tooling, including designing agents, prompting logic, and structured evaluations • Experience in healthcare services, value-based care, provider operations, payer operations, Medicare, Medicaid, PACE, or complex care delivery • Strong hands-on engineering skills and experience shipping production software end to end across the technology stack • Ability to adapt to new languages, frameworks, and infrastructure • Ability to establish technical foundations, tooling, and best practices in an early-stage environment • Strong product judgment • Ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into product, technology, and process solutions • Ability to define success metrics, use data to prioritize, and measure adoption and impact • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills • Ability to conduct discovery with non-technical staff and explain technical constraints in plain language • Vaccination or signed declination form and compliance with applicable masking requirements when working in a participant care setting • Compliance with applicable infection control protocols, PPE requirements, and vaccination requirements associated with the role and work location • Authorization to work in the United States verified through Form I-9/E-Verify
