📋 Description

• Develop and implement Harris preconstruction processes across all company locations and divisions • Deliver preconstruction services and build trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, and project influencers • Manage scheduling, estimating, bidding, design, engineering, construction administration, and related preconstruction activities • Lead design reviews, reports, studies, constructability reviews, clash detection, value engineering, and prefabrication design efforts • Coordinate preconstruction meetings, prepare meeting minutes, presentations, reports, and construction team briefings • Manage technical issue logs, cost and schedule trending, materials and equipment procurement, budgets, and client reporting tools • Support business development proposals, pursuits, bids, cost estimates, schedules, and project interviews • Advance preconstruction tools, IT solutions, dashboards, and automation • Track and communicate project scope, schedule impacts, change orders, budget trends, estimate risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities • Train and mentor preconstruction, design, and engineering team members across Harris • Foster preconstruction, collaboration, transparency, and safety culture throughout the company • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred • 8+ years of industry knowledge of mechanical and plumbing • 6+ years of knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts • 8+ years and proficient understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment • 6+ years and previous success in delivering pre-construction engineering solutions • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and related software tools • Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing preconstruction, estimating, construction contracts, design, engineering, and project delivery methods
