• Experience selling alternative data or similar products to the buy side • Evidence of closing deals and hitting quota • Strong outbound ability; comfortable building pipeline from scratch • Credibility with hedge funds; understands research workflows • Able to run a deal independently with multiple stakeholders • Clear communicator; can explain data, methodology, and use cases • High ownership mindset; comfortable working directly with founders
