📋 Description

• Supervise and monitor care management staff • Assure clinical accuracy of web-based and non-web-based content • Monitor revisions to national standards of care and reflect them in the care management program • Develop and implement department workflow processes that produce positive membership outcomes and achieve targeted metrics • Provide feedback on department processes and quality initiatives • Recommend steps for improvement • Interface with internal and external customers • Serve as liaison between customers and the medical management department

🎯 Requirements

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of operations as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Dietician (RD), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) • 2 years’ experience with direct clinical care to the consumer • 2 years’ experience as a case manager • Project management experience • Knowledge of disease management and the insurance industry • Ability to research clinical topics • PC proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Willingness and ability to work flexible work schedules as needed • Case Management Certification (URAC accredited certification), or ability to obtain it within three years of employment if overseeing case management operations • Nursing license incumbents in positions/departments requiring multi-state licenses must obtain and maintain additional current, valid, unrestricted applicable nursing licenses as determined by management • Supervisory experience preferred • Bachelor degree preferred • Experience with TX Medicaid preferred
