📋 Description

• Perform development activities within the analytics and reporting team • Provide mentorship, guidance, onboarding, and training to other Data Engineers • Work closely with account management, ETL, data warehouse, business intelligence, and reporting teams • Develop data pipelines and enhancements • Investigate and troubleshoot data and data pipeline issues • Create data models • Set up and investigate new technologies • Research complex data • Examine, extract, cleanse, and load data • Build data pipelines using SQL and other technologies • Triage and resolve complex incoming bugs and incidents • Perform technical operations tasks • Participate in sprint refinement, planning, and kick-off to estimate stories and raise implementation details • Monitor, maintain, and improve data pipeline performance • Maintain and implement quality assurance rules, methods, and tools to ensure consistent and accurate data

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering • SW certification or degree in an IT-related field • Deep understanding of modern relational and non-relational models and differences between them • Expert in writing complex SQL, including pivots, window functions, and complex date calculations • Fluent in Python programming language • Proficient in Excel and analytical tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, and PowerBI • Expertise in REST API and JSON, including parsing data and converting it into relational models • Detail oriented and able to examine data and code for quality and accuracy • Able to lead and mentor more junior data engineers • Self-starter who takes initiative when inefficiencies or opportunities are seen • ETL experience preferred • AWS Lambda / Console experience preferred • Git experience preferred
