📋 Description

• Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the IAM program • Own IAM strategy and day-to-day operations across corporate, non-human, cloud, and customer identities • Lead zero trust architecture, privileged access management, identity governance, SSO/MFA, and role-based access controls • Own and govern multiple Identity Provider instances, including integration, consolidation, and lifecycle management • Direct Infrastructure-as-Code implementation and administration of Just-In-Time access management tools • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–7 direct reports • Partner with engineering, security architecture, compliance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders • Own IAM audit and compliance evidence for HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements • Report IAM program health, risk, progress, and audit posture to security leadership, GRC committees, executives, and board-level committees • Establish ownership of cloud, corporate, non-human, and customer identities • Lead IAM integration during mergers or organizational changes • Automate access reviews, onboarding, offboarding, and role-transfer processes • Lead IAM aspects of a new HRIS deployment • Ensure compliance requirements are continually met

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in identity and access management, including 5+ years in a leadership role • Proven people-management experience leading IAM teams or broader security organizations • End-to-end ownership of IAM strategy, operations, audit outcomes, and regulatory posture • Deep hands-on expertise across corporate/workforce, non-human/machine, cloud, and customer identities • Experience owning and consolidating multiple IDP instances such as Okta, Entra ID, and Ping Identity • Experience designing and directing Infrastructure-as-Code-driven provisioning and cloud Just-In-Time access models • Experience leading IAM through a merger, acquisition, or major organizational restructuring • Experience automating access reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and role transfers • Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and regulated-environment audit requirements • Experience partnering with HR and IT on enterprise system deployments such as HRIS • Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry • CISSP required • CISM, CISA, or CCISO preferred • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience • Advanced degree (MS or MBA) a plus • Familiarity with zero trust architecture frameworks preferred • Experience managing globally distributed teams, including offshore resources preferred • Ability to work across multiple time zones • Candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
