📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Team members, business stakeholders, and technical teams • Translate software requirements into clear, actionable user stories and delivery-team deliverables • Gather, identify, define, analyze, clarify, and document business and technical requirements • Create business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, workflows, and user stories • Research requirements across the Software Development Life Cycle, including business, functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements • Use modeling, journey mapping, story mapping, and limited code or API review when appropriate • Follow BSA standards, processes, documentation guidelines, Agile principles, and SAFe practices • Maintain and refine the product backlog in Jira, including user stories, shell stories, story splitting, modeling, story mapping, epics, and Definition of Ready standards • Participate in backlog refinement sessions and Agile ceremonies • Facilitate meetings and refinement sessions; manage differing viewpoints and promote alignment • Provide short-term backfill support for Product Owner or Scrum Master roles when needed • Support delivery teams during testing and implementation • Coordinate user acceptance testing, develop test plans, validate system changes, assist with script writing, and support production issues • Review technical designs for alignment with requirements • Engage stakeholders and incorporate their needs, concerns, and feedback into requirements • Participate in BSA Communities of Practice and maintain knowledge-sharing documentation • Pursue continuous learning and contribute process, system, and service improvements • Duties are performed primarily in a home office; travel to meetings and locations throughout the country may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, plus three to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Must have hands-on experience with Appian • Understanding of SQL, depending on assignment • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to tasks, deadlines, and challenges • Analytical thinking and problem solving • Effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication • Ability to facilitate meetings, collaborate with stakeholders, manage conflicts, and build consensus • Stakeholder analysis skills • Modeling skills using models, diagrams, and visualizations • Requirements, process, and specification documentation skills • Adaptability and conflict resolution skills • Preferred: experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, ancillary benefits management, workers' compensation, and/or insurance • Preferred: experience working in an Agile environment • Preferred: PMP, CBAP, SAFe, or Appian certifications • Preferred experience with Java, Mongo, Kafka, DataDog, Splunk, ActiveBatch, SOAP webservices, REST APIs, MS SQL Server, Jira/Confluence, Git, SwaggerHub, Appian, and MS Office/Power Platform • Must provide reliable, high-speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth • Candidates must be based in AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, LA, MD, MS, MO, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, or VA
