📋 Description

• Represent, support, and advise dentists through practice transactions • Sell and provide brokerage, dental practice transition, and valuation services • Guide clients through business evaluation, transition preparation, practice listing and showing, offer and transaction-term negotiation, financing, closing, and post-transaction handoff/follow-up • Network and build relationships with practitioners, related industry professionals, and key stakeholders • Articulate the HSDPT and personal value proposition • Sell valuation services and secure practice listings • Facilitate successful transition outcomes for all transaction parties • Understand dental-practice operations, transaction processes, and practice-acquisition financing • Consult with practitioners on planning for the future sale of their practice/business • Deliver a customized client experience throughout evaluation and transition • Manage stresses and uncertainties from initial conversations through post-closing contacts • Achieve annual valuation, brokerage, and other HS DPT service goals • Communicate and execute HS DPT policy and practice • Collect, securely store, and transfer required documents and customer signatures • Develop and maintain relationships with Henry Schein Dental TSMs • Coordinate and attend in-person and virtual meetings and closings • Maintain timely contact with clients and transaction parties, address questions, support progress toward closing, and assist with financing or other resources • Attend and present at dental study clubs, society meetings, HSD sales meetings, and applicable dental-related meetings • Train Henry Schein TSMs on HS DPT services and products • Utilize the HS DPT database, CRM system, and related tools • Attend internal training and scheduled meetings • Participate in special projects and perform other required duties

🎯 Requirements

• Territory includes Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut • Active real estate license strongly preferred but not required; expected to obtain a real estate license within 12 months of start date • Condition of employment is maintaining state-specific real estate licenses in good standing where required by law • Sales knowledge, dental industry and transition knowledge, practice financing experience, or real estate sales experience preferred • Ability to communicate and present by telephone, in writing, email, and in person in a consistent, polished, and professional manner • Experience speaking/presenting to individuals, small groups, and larger audiences • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel • Self-starter with service-centric disposition and ability to collaborate within teams • Strong planning and organizational skills • Decision-making, analysis, problem-solving, and multitasking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Extreme attention to detail • Effective interpersonal and consultative skills • Ability to manage stress and complicated situations • Advanced negotiation skills and ability to overcome obstacles • Developed conflict-resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages • Positive, supportive, and team-oriented • Prior sales and/or dental experience preferred • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline is preferred • Travel typically less than 40-50%, including after-hours and evenings
