📋 Description
• Provide technical support internally to Sandvik and externally to customers and end users • Work closely with factory aftermarket, product management, account management, sales area parts planning, and field service • Manage a dedicated field service team and potential product specialist(s) reporting into the role • Oversee workforce planning, safety, equipment, and operational standards in alignment with customer and Sandvik policies • Identify, develop, and evaluate new product ideas, enhancements to existing product portfolios, and strategic product portfolio extensions • Make spare and on-site support stocking recommendations • Translate research discoveries into usable and marketable products • Participate in New Product Development planning, trialing, and customer validation when required • Sponsor, prioritize, plan, and track all phases of the product life cycle from inception through operation
