📋 Description

• Sell The Home Depot's exterior and interior products and services to customers • Conduct outside sales visits primarily in customers' homes and attend trade shows or industry events • Conduct professional sales presentations and adapt solutions to changing customer needs • Assess customer needs, develop tailored product recommendations, negotiate customized price quotes, and present warranty and financing options • Complete sales contracts and related paperwork • Take measurements using industry-standard methods to meet installation specifications • Prospect for and acquire new customers inside and outside assigned The Home Depot stores • Travel to assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and promote HDIS programs • Seek referrals and maintain relationships with store management and associates • Attend sales and store team meetings to improve sales techniques and learn HDIS product offerings • Report typically to the Sales Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • High school diploma and/or GED • 1+ years of previous related work experience • Prior in-home or virtual sales experience preferred • Prior home improvement industry experience preferred • Prior experience with successful lead generation preferred • Computer and application skills, including email, iPad, and apps • No previous leadership experience required • Must continuously stand or walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry 8–20 pounds • Regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors • No certifications required
