📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical interface between the Tiny Homes Platform and its customers • Use knowledge of GKE, Vantage networking, and mesh/control-plane internals to diagnose and resolve deployment blockers for containerized workloads • Convert recurring customer friction points into reusable technologies, tooling, documentation, video content, and self-service processes • Maintain working fluency across GKE, Docker, Envoy/Wayfinder mesh, Vantage, Tailscale, Flux CD, and CI/CD tooling • Engage directly with customers to triage and resolve deployment blockers • Turn recurring patterns into documentation, tooling, or process improvements rather than one-off fixes • Keep platform knowledge current as components, APIs, and deprecations evolve • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software • Develop functional and destructive test suites • Collaborate with team members in agile processes and the Product Team on valuable, developer-ready, understandable, and testable user stories • Support and enable junior engineers through guidance and technical discussions • Report to a Software Engineering Manager or Senior Manager; manage no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • 3 years minimum work experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Docker, GKE, and Kubernetes fundamentals • Cloud networking, including Vantage, IP tables, and Identity Providers • Experience with Envoy, Wayfinder, and Tailscale mesh layer • CI/CD pipelines, including Spinnaker, GitOps, GitHub, and Flux CD • Cloud Admission Controllers and tenant workload configuration • No leadership experience required • No certifications required
