📋 Description

• Maintain, review, and validate data for US, Canada, UK, and additional Employer of Record payrolls • Process final paychecks, adjustments, special pay, and employee expense reports • Manage Navan travel platform for employees and guests • Maintain federal, state, local, and global payroll compliance • Maintain accrued PTO schedules for applicable subsidiaries • Audit payroll tax records • Lead annual audits for 401k and Workers Compensation and assist with the general financial statement audit • Create and maintain process documentation and internal controls • Reconcile payroll data against financial records and prepare payroll-related journal entries • Address employee payroll inquiries and concerns • Track global tax regulations and compliance requirements • Provide standard and ad-hoc payroll reports and commentary on flux and trends • Administer payroll systems, maintain data integrity, and implement system upgrades and enhancements • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments on employee changes • Maintain employee data changes across Spend Platform and Airbase • Maintain benefit allocations and employee program trackers • Perform monthly flux analysis for payroll-related expense accounts

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Finance or Accounting or related field • 6+ years of relevant experience in SaaS or Start Up environment • Proficiency in Rippling required • Experience with multi-subsidiaries and global payroll • Experience using HRIS systems and payroll processors such as Rippling, Vistra and Remote • Extremely detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll procedures and global tax regulations • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively • Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and general ledger maintenance • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel preferred • Must verify identity and eligibility to work • Honeycomb cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers
