📋 Description

• Lead and manage advanced manufacturing operations for the external casting and forging supply chain • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies • Optimize manufacturing processes and implement innovative technologies • Lead cross-functional teams • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and cost efficiency • Develop and support employees, recruit talent, identify and develop successors, drive retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive culture • Report directly to the Director Supplier Development Engineer • Travel 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics • 3+ years of experience working in casting manufacturing • Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization • Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements • Excellent leadership and people management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams • Experience with investment casting, sand casting, single crystal, directionally solidified, equiaxed, ceramic core, permanent mold, and Inconel • Deep knowledge of investment casting and associated manufacturing processes • Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected asylum or refugee status • Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States • 10+ years of casting manufacturing experience, Tier 1 or 2 aerospace/industrial gas turbine/automotive supply chain experience, advanced manufacturing expertise, project management, industry best-practice knowledge, and mentoring ability are valued qualifications • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field is valued, not required • 50% travel required
