📋 Description

• Research, develop, test, analyze, and document virtual desktop infrastructure software • Research, develop, test, analyze, and document Cisco UCS infrastructure technologies and VMware technologies • Support virtual infrastructure, related components, virtual desktop resources, and availability • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less experienced engineers • Participate in a support on-call rotation for incidents, upgrades, patches, and project tasks • Create, develop, and oversee projects; assign resources; manage incident distribution; and coordinate major incident response • Track and manage budgets; manage development plans; manage projects from start to finish; requisition equipment and supplies; and assist with staff scheduling • Document and submit knowledgebase content, maintain the team website, create process maps, develop problem-management frameworks and processes, and develop training materials • Build positive working relationships with customers, team members, managers, and departments • Prioritize and respond to customer needs based on severity levels and resolve service issues • Complete IT governance and IT project assignments to achieve established milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Remote, must reside in Arizona • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, or 4 years of work-related experience (required) • 6 years of experience with Cisco UCS Infrastructure and VMware, including daily operations, planning, design, configuration, and implementation (required) • Advanced working knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems • 8 years of experience or knowledge in networking, server management (Windows & UNIX), and storage management (preferred) • VMware Data Center Virtualization certification (required) • Cisco Unified Computing System certification (preferred) • Ability to participate in a support on-call rotation • Day shift availability, 8:00am–5:00pm
