📋 Description

• Own onboarding, termination, and device logistics automation end to end • Keep automation flows healthy, identify root causes of failures, and implement permanent fixes • Run the IT Workato workspace, including recipes, connections, error handling, and alerts • Build runbooks, monitoring, and failure-response processes for critical IT flows • Build Okta and Rovo/Jira workflows to remove manual IT process steps • Establish IT-as-code foundations with a repository, cloud-hosted in-house tooling, Terraform, CI/CD, linters, Python, and Bash • Partner with Security Operations on access scoping, termination timing, and cloud approval • Partner with Business Applications on platform-level Workato access and limits • Take ownership of existing flows through a partnered hand-off • Maintain a reliability bar of 99% or better each calendar month • Report flow reliability, failures, and causes to IT leadership • Set priorities and work with little supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and running automations in a workflow or integration platform; Workato preferred, with Zapier, Tines, or Okta Workflows also welcome • Experience writing Python to automate business or IT processes, including calls to REST APIs • Experience with error handling, alerts, and root-cause analysis • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and data mapping between systems • Ability to write operational runbooks • Ability to translate business processes into working automation with Security, People, and IT partners • Practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems engineering, or automation engineering • Experience supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce • Prior experience owning an automation platform or critical workflows with little supervision • Workato or similar automation platform experience • Python or Bash experience • REST APIs and webhooks experience • Experience with collaboration platforms such as Slack and Google Workspace • Okta administration, API, and Okta Workflows knowledge is an advantage • Terraform, CI/CD, linters, Bash, and Linux experience is an advantage • Rovo or Jira workflows, Workato Genie, or similar AI agent features experience is an advantage • Experience automating onboarding, offboarding, or device lifecycle processes is an advantage • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity company is an advantage • Relevant Okta, Workato, or similar certifications are an advantage • Commitment to integrity, process improvement, and customer satisfaction • Legally authorized to work in the United States
