📋 Description

• Administer and secure Okta or an equivalent identity/SSO provider, including authentication policies, access provisioning, and downstream application integrations • Architect, administer, and secure the company email and collaboration platform • Configure mail flow rules, spam/phishing filtering, DKIM, DMARC, SPF, and data loss prevention policies • Own operations, monitoring, and incident response for network, email, and identity security controls • Manage firewall policy and threat detection • Triage incidents and remediate or escalate them according to incident response procedures • Collaborate with Security and Help Desk teams to resolve escalated connectivity issues • Support employee onboarding and offboarding • Evaluate and recommend improvements to identity architecture, email security posture, and related tooling • Administer and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points • Support a distributed workforce through capacity planning and performance monitoring • Design and implement VLAN, routing, and firewall rule changes with minimal business disruption • Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and email/identity security architecture • Manage vendor relationships and support contracts for network, firewall, identity, and email security tooling • Demonstrate commitment to integrity, process improvement, and customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, identity/security engineering, or network administration • Hands-on production experience administering an identity/SSO platform such as Okta, including access policies and application integrations • Experience configuring and maintaining SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti-phishing, and anti-spam controls • Experience administering a cloud email/collaboration platform such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 • Hands-on production experience administering enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN • Working knowledge of network segmentation, firewall policy management, and VPN architecture • Experience troubleshooting complex network, identity, and email connectivity issues with minimal escalation • Experience documenting configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks • Ability to scope and manage moderately complex projects end-to-end with little to no direction • Experience supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce • Experience with identity/SSO platforms such as Okta • Experience with email security gateways or anti-phishing tooling such as Proofpoint or Mimecast • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms • Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto or Fortinet • Experience with routing and switching technologies such as Cisco or Meraki • Experience with network monitoring tools • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or Okta certifications are advantageous • Experience with SASE/SSE platforms or Zero Trust network architecture is advantageous • Experience automating identity, network, or email security tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar is advantageous • Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity companies is advantageous • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship may be required to disclose
