• Responsible for servicing middle market commercial lines accounts • Evaluate and process underwriting information from clients • Negotiate renewals to obtain best rates, terms and conditions on behalf of clients • Inform and educate clients about coverages and exposures • Review commercial quotes, binders, invoices, and certificates/evidence of insurance for accuracy and completion • Prepare commercial applications and forwarded to underwriters for consideration • Provide annual reports of coverages, premium payments and incurred property and liability losses for auditors and accountants • Maintain relationships with MGA’s (Managing General Agents) of funded projects and introduced and implemented risk reduction management programs for safety that met and exceed State and Federal Requirements
• 5-7 years + Commercial Lines experience • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience • Demonstrated ability to property and casualty accounts (within a specific product segment or industry vertical) • Knowledge of all forms of property and casualty coverage rating • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets • Experience with Microsoft Office products; EPIC experience preferred • Valid P&C license required
